Tilting Screen

Ok I read somewhere today (not sure if it was hofo or tmonews forums) that in the FCC docs for the Dream, it mentions that it has a tilting screen when slid out, 15 degrees. So if that is true, then the image and video floating around isn't the dream as it doesn't have a tilting screen. Thoughts?

wow if it does that would make the phone so much better in my opionion because it means the realy dream isnt like the one shown in the video

I would be very happy if it had a tilting screen. I always love the HTC Tilt for that.

It won't be a tilting screen unfortunately. A lot of people read the FCC docs and didn't read carefully enough. In it it talks about testing the phone at a 15 degree tilt to see how it woudl effect the radio waves effects. This was just referring to tilting the whole phone at a 15 degree angle when operating it, not tilting the screen. It will just be a straight sliding phone.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I still want to see the front of the phone.

i dont think the g1 has a tilt screen
the keyboard looks like the SK
i can give google 9 out of 10 for the OS but 5 out of 10 for design.

well google didnt design it htc did :-P so 5 out of 10 to htc

How can we make finally judgement, we really haven't seen the entire phone yet.

From the new FCC filing, the phone looks pretty good.

I'm sick of the HTC wizard, the Wing was not an upgrade it was a joke, windows mobile 6.1 is garbage, it isn't an iPhone and it runs linux, what more could you want? I don't care what this thing looks like I'm getting it.

hey did you guys notice the slider bowing out type groove on the back of the dream while the screen is open? i think it does still kind of swivel out or something mabe it can swing out the opposite way to form an up side down L or something just look at the grove on the back of the screen in the picture on the right side of the page!! this could be a cool feature.

I notice that too but I couldn't think of what could it be.
